The Public Establishment for International Fairs and Exhibitions renewed its official membership in the Arab Union for International Exhibitions & Conferences (AUIEC) has renewed its membership in the Arab Union for International Exhibitions & Conferences (AUIEC), reaffirming Syria’s active role in the Arab exhibition and events industry and its commitment to strengthening Arab cooperation in this vital sector.
The Syrian Arab Republic is one of the founding countries of the Arab Union for International Exhibitions & Conferences, which was established in Cairo in 1995. Syria’s continued membership reflects its longstanding contribution to the development of the Arab exhibitions sector and to strengthening cooperation and exchange among Arab exhibition institutions and industry stakeholders.
The General Secretariat of the Arab Union warmly welcomed the renewal of the Syrian institution’s membership, emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong communication and cooperation with national exhibition organizations across the Arab world. Such cooperation contributes to advancing the exhibitions and events industry, expanding opportunities for trade and investment, and fostering greater economic cooperation among Arab countries.
On this occasion, the Arab Union for International Exhibitions & Conferences extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Mr. Mohammad Hamza on his appointment as Director General of the Syrian General Establishment for International Fairs and Markets. The Union wishes him every success in his new responsibilities and looks forward to continued cooperation in developing the institution’s role and strengthening Syria’s presence in the Arab and international exhibitions sector.
