Mr. Ahmed Eldib, Secretary General of the Arab Union for International Exhibitions & Conferences (AUIEC), visited the German Pavilion at EDEX Egypt 2026, reflecting the strong relationship between AUIEC and ExpoTech Germany and the Union’s continued support for German participation in international exhibitions in Egypt.

Mr. Eldib was received by Mr. Frank Hoffmann, CEO of ExpoTech Germany, and was briefed on Germany’s participation, which includes 9 companies covering 140 square meters. He also toured the participating companies’ stands and reviewed their latest products and technologies.

The visit highlights the important role of international exhibitions in connecting companies with markets and creating new opportunities for trade and investment.

Meanwhile, the global dental equipment market continues to expand, reaching USD 12.01 billion in 2025 and projected to reach USD 16.06 billion by 2031, at a CAGR of 5.04%, driven by digitalization, artificial intelligence, digital imaging, CAD/CAM technologies, and 3-D printing.

Germany ranks among the world’s leading exporters of specialized dental equipment, with exports estimated at approximately USD 1.53 billion annually, according to the report data.

These developments underline the growing opportunities in medical technology and specialized industries for cooperation between international companies and Arab markets—an area that AUIEC continues to support through its international network and exhibition platforms.
